Cloud-Hosted VMs
Local-Host VMs
In addition to the The cloud-hosted virtual machines, a home-built virtual machine will put you in full control of your own training environment! I have recorded for you two short videos to walk you through the process of building your own virtual machine (VM), using VMWare. Primary benefits of having your VM include: Any configuration changes you make will be persistent; there is no time restriction on how long you can run your VM; you will be able to install any software you want; you will continue to have access to your VM after the course has ended; you will gain experience in managing your own Linux server. Give it a try and let me know on Teams how it went for you. It would be encouraging if you could post a screen shot of your own VM. Call on Teams and share your screen if you run into any issues. Have fun
